Project organizers
Estonian team
A group of six young estonians, who put their heart and soul into this project. the team started forming at the end of 2018, when four inspired women - Hanna, Kristiine, Caroline and Lisete decided to take all of their erasmus + experiences and finally channel them into a youth exchnage of their own. It had been our dream for some time already. Uniting our ideas, values, the big amounts of energy and different skills, we worked out the concept of the project. As what we could call THE LOVELIEST coincidence in the world - one evening our friend Erki just happened to pump into us at a restaurant where we were writing the application. He was won over after a quick overview into the project and got involved from that moment. Sharing his great way with words, cooking skills and the amazing vibes, he became an irreplacable sunshine of the team. As lucky as we were in this case, we got just as lucky finding Kristjan a bit before the project. a smiling, artistic, kind soul always ready to help - the last missing piece of our puzzle.
And we did it! We still can’t believe we did! This project has been fullfilling in ways that we can’t put to words. Seeing the way peoples eyes led up during this week, recieving the genuine feedback and love - that’s something that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. |
The Portuguese team fully embraced the challenge of giving the first steps towards a better future for a better Planet. During the youth exchange, our team understood the urgency to take action in this critical moment that we live nowadays, specifically concerning issues as the environmental, social or economic gaps among countries and people. As so, during that week, we were truly inspired by the project itself, meaning that, not only by the location or the thematic approach to the topic, but also by the Estonian team and all other participants. As a result of that bright inspiration, our next step is to implement a second step towards sustainability: we are delighted to share that we are at the moment finalizing the application form to submit a project of a new youth exchange, this time at Madeira island. For us, the youth exchange in Estonian opened the door for this new upcoming adventure. The implementation of #Madeira2020, as it is commonly recognized, it will be our most practical form to make continuity to what we are committed: sustainability. We are deeply thanked you to you all! See you soon in Madeira Island! |
The Polish team was quite diverse as we all come from different parts of the country (partially even from Ukraine) and have different life experiences. Nevertheless, we all like to party hard, wish to change the world for the better and are proud of our ability to improvise - especially during the unforgettable Polish cultural evening. |
